Okay, that sounds wrong. Let me try it this way: The idea is that while Ash is supposed to be a little (okay, a LOT) stripperiffic (since she actually IS a stripper), Luna's supposed to be considerably better built for that occupation. She's thicker in the hips, as well as considerably bigger...*ahem*...up top. Body differences aside, every time I try and draw her, she looks too much like Ash. Different hair, but the face is too close.
The rough part is that I'm not sure I can fix this issue before time for the next page's release. Now, I know this is something that most comic artists run into, and that it pretty much doesn't matter to most people, but dammit, I don't want to run into the same rut as most of the other comic artists out there. I just want to be a competent artist and writer...I can be happy with that. Even if I never am able to be a professional, I can be cool with my efforts as long as I give it an HONEST effort.
But, like so many other times, I'm overanalyzing myself...yet AGAIN. I should stop doing that, maybe, but every time I overanalyze, I come out of it ever more determined to improve some factor of my art, so maybe it's a good thing. Time will tell, I suppose...

When cities burn and armies turn,
and flee in disarray,
Cowards will cry 'tis best to fly
and fight another day.
But warriors know it in their marrow
when they die and fall.
'tis better to have fought and lost
than not have fought at all...

The meeting of two persons
is like the contact of two chemical substances;
If there is any reaction,
both are transformed.

There is an art, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
